looks at these two....they are 2!

Nora and the C man turned 2 today!
We had a little celebration at breakfast and dinner......
We started our day a little slow with a blizzard, so no school or daycare.
Pancakes, scrambled eggs, and soy sausage ...a typical weekend breakfast, but the candles were a surprise and the twins loved it.  Creighton knew exactly what to do, Nora a little skeptical, but she gave in and pretended it was "hot".
Creighton was thinking, "Get those candles out the way,  I'm ready to eat"
They are trouble makers....tweedle dee and tweedle dum

Dinner time and we had to have ice cream cake...family favorite.
Nora dove right into these candles.

Happy Birthday!!

2013 New Year's Eve

The Hochgraber family went to Osaki for dinner.  Entertainment and good food, great way to end a great year!

The night before we had a big kid night out at Zorbaz - no kids :)

Three days of christmas....2013

The Hochgraber celebration started this year again at Jill, Jess, and Erika's house as they hosted Christmas Eve.

Everyone gets to try on the headband
Lots of activities throughout the night...
coloring is always a favorite for everyone
SANTA!!!
Audrey received a Rapunzel tea set and play dress, C man a JD tractor (of course), and Nora a vacuum.
And some get coal :)
Audrey grabbed the camera and took a picture of Josh and I, not bad considering it weights about as much as her!

Looks like trouble!

Trinity Lutheran Fall Festival

Today was Trinity Lutheran Church annual Fall Festival.  Running around, hayrides, singing with Tim Eggebraaten, typical church potluck and hot dogs, S'mores, pumpkin painting, and much much  more.

Mattie helped Audrey paint a pumpkin.
Crieghton loves wondering off on his own...lots of room to roam here.
They loved the wide open space, we were just shaking our heads.
Mattie helping Audrey and Nora perform the scavenger hunt.
Who doesn't love a little music from our local Detroit Lakes Police Chief, Tim Eggebraaten.
S'mores bring out the kid in all of us!
A little chicken dance is always a crowd favorite.
Nora was giggling like crazy when Grandpa pretended to sit on her.
